"Which type of Installation do you want?" Problem?

I've installed Vista Beta 2 a while ago. Upgraded to the pre-RC1, was on
vacation for the follow-ups and now I have the latest version, 5728, and when
I try to install it, I keep getting the error, "Upgrade is not available. You
can only upgrade when using XP SP2 or Windows Vista." Well, I'm using Vista
but it's not recognizing it for some reason. The other "upgraded" never had a
problem but this one does.

Does anybody else have this problem or has something happened over the last
3 weeks that I haven't read about yet? Any help would really be appreciated.

RE: "Which type of Installation do you want?" Problem?

I am having teh same problem. I'm tryingto install the rc1 64 bit over the
64 bit beta two and get the same message. I'm not sure if my rc1 is the most
current though because I was having problem downloading the file from the
traditional method. had to wind my way through the wepages to access the
rc1. Hope someone can help us.

Hello Guyute. Sorry for not mentioning which version I was using. I'm using
the x86 version. I got a few answers, though - maybe this will help you?
