| Vista Ultimate x86, Vista Home Premium x64 | Home Premium -> Ultimate; Can I use the old Home Premium license? I purchased a desktop system with Vista Home Premium 32-bit. I purchased Vista Ultimate 32-bit full install (not upgrade) and used it to upgrade my computer to Ultimate. So really, now my Home Premium license isn't being used, and I don't have a CD for it. If I were to find an installation CD, is it possible for me to install Home Premium on another computer with the old license? |

So looks like after I started this thread, the "similar threads" section below came up with a thread that my search didn't find previously. It turns out that the OEM license is not transferrable at all. So I guess my question is answered. |
