RC-1; The Good, The Bad, The Ugly - Part 1

Just received RC-1. And followed the 7 page installation to the letter.
Take time and read it all !!!

The Good
Microsoft has a great program.

The Bad
I uninstalled Vista beta 2, blew off the drive and installed XP Pro Media.
After doing all of this, and had the computer up and running, all 4
computers here at my house all networking just fine, I installed RC-1

The UGLY!!!!!
Using the upgrade (YUCH) and 2 hours and 10 mins later, it finally was up,
thats what I thought. Problems.
1. Networking using name mshome, I couldn't connect to my other computers
2. Printer wouldn't work.
3. IE7 links would not work in emails ?!?!?!?
4. Computer was just running slow. HP - M7470N. 2 gigs memory.
5. After 2 days, I gave up.

The problems are to many to list here.

Now back to The Good
I blew it all off, and installed RC-1 to a clean drive.
Installed all programs again.

Everything is working great !!!!!!!

Very smooth, fast, no problems.

Now that this M7470N is running, its off to install it on the Dell 8400.

Look for part 2, in a few days (ROFL)
