| Newbie | Dell Help, Automatic feature installation I just received a Dell Studio 1523 as a gift. I'm new to Vista and after a couple of days of normal usage a message pops up saying "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available. Insert the Dell Communications Disk and click OK." I have no CD that says Dell Communications, Dell will not assist unless I pay for technical support (The notebook is 3 days old). My question is, how can I find out what causes this application to run? And obviously, how can can I stop this automated installation? I have no idea what Dell Communications is or why it's needed. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. T |
