| | How to configure shadow copy storage? Hi, I was looking into the Event logs on my Vista system and found the following error message: "The shadow copies of volume C: were aborted because the shadow copy storage could not grow due to a user imposed limit." After I perform a disk clean and delete the shadow copies, my System drive (C is about 26GB.How do I increase the shadow copy storage and avoid this error message? Thank you in advance. Wish you all a Happy New Year! Regards, NJ |

| | Re: How to configure shadow copy storage? You might want to look at TimeTraveler at http://www.bearsontheloose.com/timet...iguration.html This is a Windows Explorer plug-in. It provides you with a GUI to setup Volume Shadow Copy storage. TimeTraveler inserts a timeline into Windows Explorer. It provides easy access to previous versions of files and folders on all Editions of Vista. Move the time cursor along the timeline to view, compare or restore files or folders from a prior point in time. TimeTraveler lets you manage and schedule points in time (Volume Shadow Copies). -- GrumpyKoalaBear ------------------------------------------------------------------------ GrumpyKoalaBear's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/102262.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-set...ll/1096028.htm http://forums.techarena.in |
