| vista ultimate x32 | ASUS G50VT-X1 Laptop can't clean install vista ultimate 32 bit! Hey guys, I just got an ASUS G50V laptop. It comes loaded with vista 64 bit edition and I wanted to do a clean install of windows ultimate 32 bit. Here is the specific model that i purchased: G50VT-X1 during the install, everything goes smoothly until the very end. It says "completing install..." for like 1 hr, then it pops out a screen saying "some of the components could not be installed, to reinstall windows, please restart and boot from the the DVD drive" or something along those lines. Any idea whats going on here? Thanks in advanced! Dave |
