Setup cannot determine if this computer supports installation

Setup: P4 3Ghz, clean 32 GB FAT32 partition, WinXP Pro SR 2, Bootmagic 8,
installing from DVD.

I understand from a previous post the answer was to switch on all services.
Is that still the current thinking? Or is there a specific service or two
that Vista needs? I've tweaked several service settings so unless I have to
I'd rather not just throw open the service switch.

I plan to use Bootmagic to dual boot. Bad idea? I want to keep WinXP.
Thoughts?

RE: Setup cannot determine if this computer supports installation

Sorry about the double post. I keep getting an error while trying to post
that tells me I didn't post. Apparently I did.
