Vista - Vista won't install on Sony Vaio notebook

I have a Sony Vaio notebook PCG-K27. I have tried installing (clean) 5600,
5728 and 5744 without sucess. The installation freezes at various points of
the process. It has done this at the language selection screen, the screen
for entering the key. The best it has ever done is freezing during file
expansion (27%). Has anyone out there sucessfully installed on this or a
similar model?

i have trien installing on a Toshiba A105-S4034 and had a problem with
installin cant get past final step screen goes black
any succes with this model or similar model
