| Windows XP Pro 32bit. | Windows Vista Installation Problem I get this error: Windows failed to start a recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem: 1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer. 2. choose your language settings and then click "Next". 3. Click "Repair your computer" If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer file: \windows\system32\drivers\iastorv.sys Status: 0xc0000098 info: Windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing, or corrupt Here are my System Specs. e8400 C2D @ 4.05ghz Gigabyte EP45-UD3R WDC 250gb HD IDE Windows XP Pro 32bit. |

| Windows XP Pro 32bit. | Re: Windows Vista Installation Problem Same thing happened. It checked my WIN XP CD and then When I did the Fix thing it said it wasnt a Command and it gave me a list of the commands I could use. |

| vista ultimate 32bit,64bit,Seven Ultimate 64bit | Re: Windows Vista Installation Problem you have to boot with the cd,when you get the command prompt, you have to switch to the C: drive. the command is CD\ C: your new command line should now start with C: now run sfc as before. the way you were running it, sfc was checking the files on your cd drive. |
