    Running Vista 32bit, recovery 64bit????

    Hi,
I have had a number of problems all week and thanks to the guys here i have been able to sort most of them out. With a failing laptop I have managed to back up most of my files in order to reinstall windows (no alternative).

I purchased this laptop in june of last year legally from a large distribution chain in Australia. I have a toshiba satellite a300 psag4a 02600m and am travelling in the uk... When I came travelling i thought to pack my toshiba recovery disk, just in case. However, now I am about to do a full repair/reinstall/whatever, I've noticed that the OS that came installed on my laptop is Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit, while my toshiba recovery disk (only for sale with a new toshiba satellite a300 blah blah) is Windows home premium 64bit...

    Will this even work?
I dont mind formating and reinstalling manually, but surely a recovery disk wont do this? Its a 2 disk set and it says it contains software as well..

Im at a bit of a loss, should I run the disk?

Formatting and re-installing is what a recovery disk does best..
