| | install vista on 2nd HDD ... installation can't change system driv I have 2 HDD's in my laptop, XP installed on a 100 gig C drive and I installed vista on the second, 60 gb hdd both are SATA, separate arrays, and I successfully got vista install to load the XP drivers to access them - from a USB key - interestingly would not load them from a usb floppy drive. anyway, install copies and expands the files etc, but then says it can't make necessary changes to the system drive, and fails any ideas? |
