| | Vista RC2- Repair Installation ? I installed RC2 over a week ago and all was well until yesterday when Media Center went pear-shaped. I have gone through all rhe repair options and now have a simple 'Media Center not Working' message. Question is can I 'repair install' from my installation disc, and if so how ? |

I tried a repair installation of Vista RC2 build 5744 but Vista does not offer that option, doing a new installation instead and putting the old Vista installation into a folder named 'Windows.old' (from where I can extract downloaded files/programs for use in the new installation).
