| | Up grade to Vista RC1 I am using Intel Pent. 4, CPU 2.80 GHZ., with Asus P5S800-VM motherboard. When going from XP to Beta 2 everything worked great. However, going from beta 2 to Vista RC1 the taskbar in the notification area just keep ociliation "indexing idle". I cannot use any pulled down menus on any programs. The working screen goes active to inactive. I tried reinstalled vista rc1 and i still get the same thing. Any suggestion. Note: My internet explorer does not work. I get a blank screen thats says "connecting". |

| | Re: Up grade to Vista RC1 Installation limitations There are three installation scenarios for Windows Vista RC1: 1.. You can do a clean installation. This process will overwrite any data that you have on your hard disk or on your installation partition. The overwritten data will be lost and unrecoverable. 2.. You can upgrade an existing installation of Windows XP. 3.. You can upgrade an existing installation of Windows Vista Beta 2. -- Jane, not plain 64 bit enabled ![]() Batteries not included.
