Vista - Raid install

Having problems installing a raid across 4 1TB hard drives. I have it configured in the bios. Trying to do raid 5 but have tried different configs and still no luck. vista home premium 64 bit. asus p6t deluxe v2 board. when i get to the drive area i install the intel driver that asus provided then i get an error something about windows not being able to be installed on that drive. I click new and it cuts a big chunk of space from the primary and i still end up with the error about windows not being able to be installed.then i have what looks like two drives. neither will allow an install.
