lap top no instal disk stuck on boot screen

i bought a lap tp last yr didnt come with disk.
Now i have boot mang window says i need a instal disk every tie i boot it goes straight to that i cant get any where so what do i do ? what do i need to go buy to fix it? Or if i wanted to up grade could i do it or do i fix this first then up grade

Contact the laptop manufacturer and ask if you can buy a DVD/CD set from
them.
