Vista - Nortel client

I am setting up a Dell machine with Vista Ultimate RC2. I am trying to
install the Nortle LAN CTE client. This is a TAPI interface between the
computer and a Nortel BCM phone system. It seems to go through fine. After
I reboot and log on, but before the desktop appears, I am getting an error
that says:

Nortel Networks LAN CTE Client - InstallShield Wizard

line Add Provider ERROR: operation failed

The client version is 6.7.2.40A. I called Nortel and they do not have a
newer version and the Nortle and MS are working together. They said I should
try MS for help.

Well, since no one has answer you that would know the answer , I will
through out a suggestion. Are you running the install as "Run as
Administrator", and maybe even WinXP compatibility mode? I just ask,
because perhaps the "Add Provider" error is because the installer doesn't
have access to something it needs, or it is looking for something that is
different from XP as far as folders, or files.
