Visual Studio .NET Installation on Vista.. Please help ASAP

I download the Full Pack from MSDN. I unzipped the files to empty folder.. I
tried to run the setup and I got a messege which says " Setup has detected
that some of the system components that are installed on your computer do not
match the versions required for Visual Studio .NET. You must install a
different version of these components" What should I do? I have a project for
this Friday and I need to do this ASAP.

Thanks,
KEmal

You "have a project due on Friday", and you're mucking about with a
pre-release OS and trying to install the IDE to start the project?
Do your project on an XP machine with VS 2005 installed, then go back to
experimenting.

As far as installing VS 2005 on Vista is concerned, I have it installed and
working here. Instead of using your hard drive, I suggest downloading the
..iso, burning the image to a DVD, then try installing from the DVD.

I think I solved the problem. I just ignored the first Requirement Error and
I said Skip. Rest of it was fine. I am using it now. Seems like no problem.

Keep in mind that officially, VS2005 isn't supported on Vista. So if you
you a critical project, you're taking more of a chance...
