Or you could argue, that now is a GOOD time to get it down, before Vista
is unleashed, when that's on there, things will REALLY bog down...

If all the info is correct, Vista won't be up until Friday, that's why
I figured Wednesday would be good.

However, I decided to try it and it's not too slow, around 120kb/s. I
don't mind the speed, I figured I could either download, burn and
install or watch the Cardinals lose again.... <sigh>

Friday is past the quoted 7 days from RTM that the MSDN team made a song
and dance about. I doubt after making such a bold statement of "within 7
days of RTM", they will screw things up by delivering 9 days after RTM,
that would be embarrassing (but typical based on MSDN's previous poor
performance)..

Yes, but Friday is what was announced so I'll be surprised if it's up
sooner.

Re: Office 2007 on Technet / MSDN

I have a 15Mbit cable connection and downloaded it at over 650KB/second. Of
course, it was 8pm when I downloaded it.

RE: Office 2007 on Technet / MSDN

Just an FYI, there seems to be something wrong with the keys generated
on-line in MSDN Subscriber downloads... Grabbed all the RTM ISOs for Office
2007, but Groove/Project/Visio use the same key and all require activation.
In the past this hasn't been a problem - I mean, the MSDN keys tend to be
good for multiple activations. Well in this case, I activated Project first,
then Visio and Groove refused telling me that I had already reached my
activation limit. Phoning the activation helpline and pleading seemed to
work, but clearly there is something wrong (I mean, I used brand new keys
that I had generated a couple of hours ago and used them to install on one
PC)...

Yes, I have the same problem with my Groove/Project/Visio. I can't activate
them online.
