Security Update KB954430 repeated install availability

Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 (KB954430)

Download size: 5.4 MB

Windows Update repeatedly tells me it has installed KB954430 successfully,
then tells me that the same critical update is available to install.
Has it really installed and why does the update keep coming up again?
Thanks
