Hard drive failure after deinstallation

Hi there!

My hard drive is not recognized anymore since I had VISTA installed.
I am not able anymore to install XP or LINUX or what ever - the messages
after starting from a Windows XP installation CD or from a LINUX DVD are the
same: NO HARD DRIVE detected ...

VISTA DVD has no problem recognizing my hard drive, not in the 32bit version
and also not in the 64bit version.

I tried already tools like KillDISK but no success - can anybody help?

Re: Hard drive failure after deinstallation

Hi,

Have you run a drive diagnostic from the hard drive manufacturer yet? Is the
drive seen in the system BIOS?
