| | loss of video input signal when booting into vista rc1 Hey, what's up?... I start up the computer with the vista beta rc1 and everythings good til I get asked if I want to boot from the cd... press any key. Well, I push the space bar and I lose my video imput into my 17" Acer LCD. I can hear the cd running rapidly like you would normally hear her purr when under the stress of booting from a DVD. This is my system: -Core 2 Duo E6300 -Intel DG965WH -2x 1gb Samsung PC4300 -geforce 7300 LE pcie The intel mobo has built-in video, but I don't think that should be causing the problem. When I run the windows upgrade advisor it says i'm good all the way to ultimate. I currently have windows xp installed on the same machine. Thanks in advance, Matt |

| | Re: loss of video input signal when booting into vista rc1 Killerbunny, Do you have the external card set as the primary video card? This is usually done in the BIOS of your system. Bill F.
