Hi everybody,

This is the laptop sony vaio fz140e with vista home premium 32 bit os
was working very fine. One day during system restore due to forced power shut down
i see after booting / after showing microsoft windows status bar it finally stopped in black screen and mouse pointer shows thats all.
So i try with f8 system restore with last good configuration it does the same thing
not only that in there every option like safe mode in command prompt or anything i tried finally put in same situation.
So i thought system startup repair of this which residing in separate partition is might be
damaged doisng same thing booting from cd could help. Went to following website

download and made bootable cd the cd works fine i checked with anaother laptop
it does take me vista installation window but with this one after booting from cd

(as it shows press any key to boot from cd...)

after windows loading file counter
i see the same thing , blank screen.

My question is even after booting from cd why it would go to blank screen it suppose to show me option for the repair..
