windows cannot boot into next phase of installation

My computer has been completely wiped out and we've been trying to get Vista
to reinstall on it and everytime we get to the end of it where it is
installing updates then it pops up stating that "windows could not prepare
the computer to boot into the next phase of installation. To install windows,
restart the installation." Unfortunately everytime I do it I get the same
problem. I need to know what to do get it fixed. Oh I'm using an Acer Aspire
    5315.

    Hi,

If you're installing a retail version of Vista on the Acer system, it likely
is lacking required supporting drivers for the proprietary build of the
machine. This is not uncommon, you should be using Acer's recovery software,
and problems relating to it should be brought to Acer support as the
recovery methods vary widely by manufacturer.
