| | Installation without key If I install the Win Vista without the key, I have 30 days to try the OS, but I think I will need a little more time 'cause I can't find my WinXP installation disc, 'cause I need to format that I have a virus that it's destroying and affecting many files like the IE, I already fixed it many time but it still appearing, or anyway I have three installation keys provided by microsoft when I downloaded the ISO file but it is not working, I think it ocurred when I put the disc to install and there appeared update the installation file (recomended) or something like that and it downloaded a file and now I can't. Now if I install the OS inside WinXP, I can install it but without format the partition, I will still with my actual files??? |

| | Re: Installation without key Dude, putting Vista on a possibly virus-infected PC is the wrong answer to your problems. If you have a virus you need to get rid of it. -- Richard G. | | Clean Format and Antivirus Reformat you PC from scratch, install Vista, then before you do anything else, put your Antivirus software on the computer, do an update. This will protect you from any more viruses. Then you can use your system for 30 days. If you need more time you can either reformat your PC, reinstall Vista (which would be a major pain in the a$$) or you can buy a legit copy and run forever. Most important thing is to start clean and protect yourself from the get-go. "Richard G.
