Whats my problem?

At first I though it was because Vista wasn't recognising my SATA Drivers
but...

I tried installing Vista on a IDE drive today and I still get a message
that asks me for drivers - but it doesn't say WHAT! Its obviously not SATA
as I thought.

I do not have any IDE cards and my DVD is a Pioneer 110D.

Any ideas what it wants drivers for?

Also this message is the first thing that comes up after you hit the
INSTALL button (graphics look fine as well)

Disconnect the SATA drive(s) completely, what happens?

i have tried using an IDA drive and i still get this message

I am loading the dvd with my pioneer 110 drve and it works up until that
point - i have trieds multipel downlaods and burns with different software
- so is it the dvd drive? it would seem odd as it works up til that point.

What kind of motherboard do you have, and what interfaces are the hard
drive and DVD drive connected to?

Its an Asrock Conroe e2SATA2 mobo - Vista verified

My preferred set up was 1 SATA HDD and 2 Optical Drives on IDE Primary and
Slave.

I originally thought that the message meant my SATA wasn't recognised.

I tried HDD and DVD on IDE Pri and Sla and it still kept asking for drivers
- so its not down to the HDD it seems but something else
