Download without manager

The download for vista beta two says the file size is supposed to be 3.5 gb
for 32 bit and 4.4 for the x64. I downloaded both and when im trying to
install the x64 on my pentium 820d it gives me an error whole in step one
saying the windows file cant be found. I took a look at the iso and its only
showing 2.2 gb for x64 and 2.0 gb for 32. Is it supposed to be this way.
When i tried to download the file again w/o the download manager the files
are still the same size.

Re: Download without manager

Using a d/l manager for large files is recommended, whatever site you're
getting them from. You don't have to use Microsoft's (Akamai's, really), the
alternate d/l link lets you use whatever d/l manager you're used to.
Personally I use Download Express (freeware) from MetaProducts.

Re: Download without manager

wget -c is what i used. it was nice, and actually quite fast. The TCP/IP
stack in vista is now equal to that of linux, if not better
