Does anyone know when will our Vista RC1 Trial Version expire? What will
hapen then? Should we buy the full version or the upgrade?

Type "winver" in the Start Search box. All betas and RC's expire at the end
of May.

That's up to you. Once the trial expires you will have to do a clean
install rather than an upgrade install, so keep that in mind. If you plan
to upgrade-in-place you will need to purchase a full edition Vista Ultimate
since RC1 does not qualify you for upgrade edtion pricing. If you plan to
do a clean install any full edition will work.

Hi Colin Barnhorst: When I do start and run and type in winver I get
information that it is an evaluation copy and will expire in March 7 2007 at
6.59p.m SO it give me exactly 90 days looks like. My problem is there is no
activation option to activate windows vista ultimate edition via phone and
the internet activation is says it has been successfully activated. But it
key logo is still present saying only 2 days left, I am at the end of the
rope before this thing locks out on me. I call microsoft support and they
told me to post my request here I hope you can help me before sunday.

At this point you'd better save your files and settings to intermediate
storage in the event you do not get resolved in time and need to reinstall.
There is a command line version of activation that should bring up the
screen with the activation center phone numbers but I don't recall it. Chad
Harris knows it (if I remember right) so hopefully he will see this thread
and respond.
