Acces to progs.

Although set as Administrator, while attempting to uninstall a prog.
from computer, was told I " do not have sufficient rights to access" !

Am I wrong in thinking there is a program in Vista, that allows one
to set the parameters of access, by ticking various boxes ?

RE: Acces to progs.

Even the Administrator in Windows Vista does not have session 0 access
anymore. While it's a bit of an inconvenience it'll save you so much trouble
in the long run from spyware and viruses that can not access your system
files without permission as well.

Anyway, when it says you do not have sufficient rights try right clicking
the icon of the program and choosing "Run as Administrator". That should
work, though I am surprised it did not give you that window in the first
place.

You can disable this feature in the user accounts control panel as well.
