Put the XP cd in the drive, boot from it, delete the system partition,
create a new one, install XP.

Hi,

Boot your system with your WinXP CD, start setup and agree to the license by
hitting F8. At the point where you choose the installation location, instead
delete the existing partition that houses Vista. Then create a new one from
the free space, do a quick format and proceed with installing XP.

Insert the XP CD and it will format your hard drive and install XP.
