| | Re: vbscript error I just tried to install Snagit, I received a message that the program could not continue becuase of an error. When I researched the error on the TechSmith website, I found out that it is caused by a windows script error. It appears that the problem with itunes and snagit are related. Do you have any suggestions. Thank you again, "Ramesh, MS-MVP" wrote: > And the error message is? > Are you able to run other VBScripts? > > To test, create a file named sample.vbs using Notepad, with the following line: > > MsgBox "hi" > > Save the file. | | RE: vbscript error I found the solution to this problem on another forum. I tried it and it worked for me. I intalled iTunes and am now updating my iPod. My problem was that VBSript was installed but not registered. Here is what I did to resolve the problem. 1. Start Menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Right Click on Command Prompt -> Run As Administrator. 2. Type “cd C:\Windows\System32″ 3. Type regsvr32 vbscript.dll Close the command prompt window and install iTunes. Good Luck.
