| | DVD image from MSDN seems to only work if XP is already on system I seem to be having some difficulty getting the DVD image I downloaded from MSDN to boot on a system without an o/s already on it...they'll work on a system with XP already on it but won't otherwise...am I missing something obvious here??? -tia |

Have made sure that the BIOS of the pc in question is set to boot first from DVD? -- Jane, not plain 64 bit enabled :-)Batteries not included. In Roxio, using Creator Classic, you 'create a disk from an image', you don't really choose 'make a bootable CD', creating it from the downloaded image makes it bootable because of the content of the image. The resulting dvd booted all my computers just fine.
