| | Vista Upgrade "Requires clean install" help needed. On the "Upgrade Paths from Previous Versions" page two "upgrade" paths are presented; "Requires clean install" and "Upgrade-in-place". If you want to install Vista Home Premium on a machine with XP Pro, you have to do the clean install. If your machine has XP Home then you can do an "install-in-place". Can you use the Vista Home Premium Upgrade disc when you have to do a "Requires clean install"? Or does the Home Premium Upgrade ONLY work when the chart says you can do an "Upgrade-in-place"? To see the chart: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pro...radepaths.mspx |
