| | Re: Clean install with RAID drives You will need a driver for your RAID drives. What adapter are you using? Then check if Vista supports that RAID hardware out of the box or check at the manufacturers/mobo vendors site. Typically you have to supply the driver with a floppy or USB memory stick while installing. that is only if Vista doesn't have to driver on the DVD. Good luck "chris858" <chris858@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CDE5B641-B5FA-4773-ABD9-B87F4883030D@microsoft.com... >I have a computer that has two drives that are RAID. will the clean >install > make the raid drives disappear? i also have a scsi drive that i use for > video editing, will vista see that drive? i don't care about any other > settings or software. i have windows xp pro, i was going to use the > business upgrade. thanks |

| | Re: Clean install with RAID drives Since i'm using the business upgrade version, if i do a regular install instead of a "clean install" would all the drive settings still be in place? thanks !
