I wanted to do a clean install by booting from the upgrade dvd, and all was
well until it asked for the key, which when entered said that for the given
key I had to boot from within windows. When I did this it did not give the
option to format the drive I was installing to. So I went ahead and
installed anyway. It gave the message that all old files would be saved in a
file and I could access it later. Everything went through fine and it is
working well, however when I start my computer it goes to the windows boot
manager where it offers to boot Vista or XP. I have never tried booting into
XP, but I just want to know why it is asking me to choose? Do I have both
OS’s on my computer?? If so, how can I remove XP? Thanks in advance for any
input.
