XP to Vista with Easy File Transfer

    Ok, here I go.

We have XP, want to upgrade to Vista, not sure of edition yet but probably
Ultimate or Business. I've download "Easy File Transfer" program from MS
website, transfered settings and etc.. to CD (5) of them, it wouldn't let me
    use my DVD drive.

? Will Vista recognize the CD's when I put them in the CD Rom and start to
    transf them ?

? How does all this work ?

I would like to do a clean install, but want to choose what I want from
    those (5) CD's. Possible/or not?

    Thanks.

It should autoplay. If I remember correctly, I believe you can choose
what you want. I know that you can when creating the disks.

It is important that you read and understand how you are going to proceed
with transferring those files once you have Vista installed. A mistake could
be costly for your important data.

Yes, I do believe so. It's been awhile since I used it, back in November.

If you need more help, just post back here.
