Any antivirus software, along with anti-malware, should be uninstalled
before attempting an upgrade. Any other software that is flagged as
incompatible should be uninstalled before upgrade.

Thanks Jane. I formated my machine last night and put XP back on it and done
all of the microsoft updates on it so tonight im going to try again with
Vista, Wish me LUCK. JW
