Old Disc structure.

I have just installed vista over XP, part ogf the instal was for the system
to create a copy of the old operating system and to keep it on the "c" drive.
Now that vista is fully working with no problems is there a way of removing
this file? It contains a copy of the previous windows system?

Re: Old Disc structure.

Start diskclean for all users if you are sure all has been going well. That
will get it from your system.

Did you do a custom install or an upgrade install? Delete the windows.old
folder.

Re: Old Disc structure.

Run disk cleanup and allow it to delete the .old file if you are having any
problems.
