    Upgrade on Windows XP fails

    Hi,

I tried to upgrade from Windows XP Professional (SP2 installed) to Vista
Business, but my PC crashed after the last boot (Completing upgrade...).
    The error message is: LIRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
I removed everything in my PC which I could remove (exept HDD, graphics
card, and memory - only 1Gb installed).
When doing a clean install, Vista works without a problem.. but I only have
    an upgrade key :-(

    Can somebody help?

    Thanks!

You CAN do a clean install.

I've not done this yet. Pleae share your experiences with it.

    Luck!

Do the "custom install" instead, which will be a clean install.

I get the same message I think from the little you gave of it..

I thought of going into safe mode but I always get

Is there an easy way around all of this? If not..how do I get to a place
where I can do the clean install, I seem to be locked out as it just keeps
    shutting down in cycles.
