Vista - install.wim needed after install?

bruce n/a posts	install.wim needed after install? I did an install from XP, not an upgrade on my machine set up for dual boot. I now see that my XP partition has a huge install.wim file. Can I safely remove this file? My Vista install worked fine and this file is huge and I want to clear some space in my XP partition. Thanks
