Can't use keyboard during install.

I can't use my keyboard during the installation. I can't get any further
then the activation part. My mouse works though. The keyboard is USB, my
computer does not have any PS/2 ports. I tried another keyboard but it
didn't help.

System specs:

Motherboard: Dell Dimension 9100
BIOS: Phoenix Tech (05/25/2005)
Chipset: Intel Lakeport i945P
CPU: Pentium D 830 (3GHz, 800FSB)
RAM: 2GB DDR2 533MHz (4x 512MB DIMMs)

RE: Can't use keyboard during install.

I figured it out on my own. I used a Targus USB Port Replicator and an old
PS/2 port Keyboard. Vista does not reconize my USB Keyboard (Dell keyboard)
even after installing and running the OS.
