RC1 to RTM Issues

I have been using Vista since Beta 2. I went to the launch event yesterday
and got a free copy of Vista Ultimate RTM. When I try to install it
everything is fine untill the very end. A diaglog box pops up saying
something like the job could not be completed. Then it reboots and
uninstalls itself. I have tried twice with te same result. It takes about 2
hrs each time and I can't use PC (obviously) during this time. What can I do
to help? I have been trying the upgrade version of the install to preserve my
existing applications.

Best thing to do, would be to use Windows Easy Transfer to
save your settings. Then, do a clean install. It will be faster
and will more than likely turn out better. You'll just have to
reinstall your programs.
