Greetings

I installed Vista last weekend, and I can't get audio drivers to
install.

I have a compaq presario sr1020t with Real Tek ac'97.

HP referred me to these drivers:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/g...reg_R1002_USEN

I also found these drivers:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

The realtek drivers get stuck in a loop. It warns me that the drivers
are from an unverified publisher. I click "install anyway". 30 seconds
later, it comes up with the same error.

The HP drivers usually install without incident, but when I reboot,
there's still no audio. The speaker on the task bar shows "no audio
output device is installed".

I have UAC shut off, and I always "run ad asministrator". Does this
work for anyone? Any suggestions?

Thank you for your help.
Jay
