Hello, Can you send me the event logs as well? open event viewer and right click on the log file and choose to save as evtx files Application log System log Security log compress the logs before sending if possible in a zip file remove the online from my email address. I booted the computer up and it went into reduced functionality mode I couldn't acess the control panel. I had overclocked the processor so it was running at a non standard speed Vista recognised it as running at 2.40 GHz the standard speed but was actually running at 2.93GHz I reset the processor to run at standard speed in the bios re booted the computer and the control panel was excessable again. It sounds to me that Vista dosn't want to run on an overclocked system. If the problem happens again i'm going to go back to XP Hope this is of help to someone |
