Upgrade from XP Professional to Vista Ultimate

I get the message "This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an
operating system that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system
specification." when I insert the upgrade disk for my computer. I am running
an HP 840X DVD Writer thats new in the system. How do I correct this issue to
continue the install?

I read in another NG that some DVD drives require a firmware upgrade in
order to read the disc format used on the Vista discs.

I'm noty 100% sure but IIRC... if a firmware update isn't available for your
drive then MS may be able to provide a replacement Vista disc that your
drive can read.
