    How to delete AOL

I don't want AOL on my PC. I have deleted it using unistall programmes, yet
every time I turn on my PC, there it is, sitting in the system tray (is that
what it's called still?), irritating the heck out of me. When I click on it
to see if I can stop it from starting up it tries to install itself! Help!
How do I get rid of AOL????

Use the autoruns utility from www.sysinternals.com ( Logon tab, Run
    key )

    Cheers

    Hello,

To remove AOL from startup, hold down the Windows Key, and press R

Then, type "msconfig", accept the UAC prompt, and go to the Startup tab

Scroll down till you see the programs that say "AOL" and uncheck them.

Then, click Apply/OK, and reboot your computer.
