Vista - Brother MFC-6800 Driver

I'ver tried getting my printer to work with Vista for an hour. Any drivers
for the brother MFC-6800 yet? Being able to print is critical to my wife
accepting this new OS. Thanks!

What was the response you received from "Brother" regarding their drivers for
their product?

Brother has yet to reply to my email from this morning. Thanks.

I would suggest then that Brother does not yet have a driver that is
compatible with Vista. I would further suggest that since Vista is a beta,
you treat it as a test unit only and not use it for any type of production or
as any type of unit you depend upon.

Although brother does not have the driver to support the scanner and on my
MFC-6800, choosing

Brother HL-720

at least allows you to print. This took many many many emails to brother to
find this out.
