ms office pro

Hi,

I have microsoft office pro,and i am wondering if there will be a problem if
i install a version that is a few years old.I cant remember what year
version it is it says 2002 (althought i think that is not right) but the
version of :
Word is 10.2627.2625
Excel 10.2614.2625

I had a few problems with other incompatible softwares,so thought to ask

Thanks

Re: ms office pro

The only component you might have problems with would be Outlook -- I
think the version you have includes Outlook 2002...

Except that Outlook 2002 won't remember your email password
when run under Vista.

Re: ms office pro

Good info--that I didn't know. I should have said I'm not testing my old
Office versions feature by feature as might be done in a lab.

Thanks Tom,
