| | Help - Activation problems Im having some trouble activating windows Vista Home Premium (Upgrade). I recently upgraded my computer and replaced every part of my computer except the hard drive. However, I couldnt load the sata drivers and I didnt have a floppy disk so I just used the Windows vista CD I had and installed over my previous installation of vista (the same copy). This cleared my entire hard drive and I thought all it did was reinstall Home premium. When I went to activate it said "This CD Key is already in use" and when I tried to enter the CD Key again it said something along the lines of "this CD was not meant for clean installations." In most cases I would contact technical support but I'm afraid of getting charged $59. Any help please? |

| | Re: Help - Activation problems Use the telephone number supplied for activating Vista via phone. You will not be charged for re-activating a system install that got accidentally wiped out. You can do this as many times as you need to. Bob S.
