| | Upgrade/Virtualize questions There are a few things I'm not sure about after looking through this NG. I'd be much obliged is someone could clear these up for me: 1) Is it possible to do a clean install of Vista with the Upgrade Edition, so you can keep XP on the same computer? 2) Is it possible to virtualize Vista with VMware or Virtual PC? 3) Suppose you have a full version (not upgrade). Is there any reason why you couldn't put Vista on its own partition? Have XP on a separate partition, and virtualize other (non-Vista) OS's out of XP? In other words, leave Vista out of the virtualization loop altogether. |
