    Windows Vista Licensing Activation

I recently purchased Vista Ultimate and chose to dual boot with XP and Vista,
    thus activating the Vista license.
I then un-installed Vista and chose to load it as virtual machine (VMWare)
    on my XP box.
To no one's surprise (probably), I am getting a message that the software
    has already been acivated.
What do I need to do in order to resolve this issue ?

Just use the telephone activation. You can use Ultimate in a virtual
environment according to the EULA so there should be no problem with that
    configuration.
